You and your partner can dress up as Belle and the Beast from the Disney movie. To do this, you will just need to dress up in your best clothes. "Beast" will need a mask of course. Or, you can put your own spin on the concept. Perhaps the woman may want to dress up as the "Beast" while her male partner goes out as Prince Charming. Not only is this a creative twist on the obvious, but it is sure to garner a few laughs amongst your friends at the parties you will be attending.
Bacon and Eggs. Some things just go well together; bacon and eggs are two of these things. This costume idea is also very creative but common enough so that you won't spend the evening explaining the rational behind your costume ideas. You can actually purchase these costumes online. Addams Family Costumes.
With the current popularity of the Goth movement, Addams family characters are very popular. You and your partner may want to attend the party as Morticia and Gomez or as Wednesday and Puggsley. The best part about these costumes is that they are easy to create. All that you will need is black clothes, black wigs, and black eye makeup to complete the look. The Flinstones.
If you and your partner are more of an old-fashioned couple, you may want to play that up by dressing as the Flinstones. You can make your own costumes from leopard print fabrics or you can buy costumes at the costume store. Of course, Wilma will need to wear a large stone necklace. Fred will need to wear a tie over his leopard print costume too. Don't forget to purchase a nice red wig to wear to complete the Wilma costume.
The Dynamic Duo. You and your partner may want to go as superheroes. Men can choose from Batman or Superman. The ladies may want to go as Catwoman or as Wonder Woman.
